Dr. C. Öcal Fidanboy earned his Bachelor’s degree from the Department of Chemical Engineering at Ankara University, his first Master’s degree from the Department of Chemical Engineering at Hacettepe University, and his second Master’s degree from the Department of Computer Engineering at Çankaya University. He completed his Ph.D. in Management and Organization at Başkent University. Dr. Fidanboy has over 20 years of experience in the IT sector. In his professional career, he has served as a manager, chief consultant, and trainer in the setup and certification processes of management systems for numerous organizations in the IT and defense sectors. From 2002 to 2012, he worked at TÜBİTAK – BİLGEM as a Software Quality Manager (Senior Researcher) on many key IT/defense projects and national/international management system certification projects. For the following two years, he served as a management consultant at Türk Telekom Technology Directorate, leading software management system implementation projects and other international certification initiatives. He has published numerous articles and papers on topics such as management/strategy development, organizational behavior, quality management, and R&D management. He has also taught courses as a part-time lecturer at Başkent University, Çankaya University, and TED University.
