Dr. Betül Cansu Öztürk completed her undergraduate and master’s studies in the Department of Industrial Engineering at Gazi University and earned her Ph.D. in Management Information Systems from the same institution. Throughout her academic journey, she has received several awards recognizing her achievements. Dr. Öztürk has professional experience in both academia and industry. She worked in materials management at Şişecam, served as an academic at Başkent University, and provided consultancy services for Elite Naturel. She also held key roles at TÜBİTAK in the areas of quality management, strategic planning, and organizational development. She played an active role in the preparation and publication of TÜBİTAK’s Strategic Plans for 2018–2022 and 2019–2023. Within the framework of the Industry and Technology Strategy, she led the Human Resources and Advanced Technologies committees. Her contributions include significant projects such as TÜBİTAK’s institutional restructuring, Teknofest, and the Ministry’s Human Resources Inventory System. Additionally, she has served as an advisor to the Minister of Industry and Technology, Mr. Mehmet Fatih Kaçır. Dr. Öztürk’s research and professional interests include management support systems, strategic planning and management, R&D supports, multi-criteria decision-making, ergonomics, quality management, performance evaluation, and risk analysis. She is currently working at TÜBİTAK BİLGEM in the field of project management and continues her academic career as a faculty member in the Department of Management Information Systems.​
