He graduated from the Department of Mathematics at Middle East Technical University (METU) and completed his master’s and doctoral studies in Operations Research. He held the positions of Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, and Professor in the Department of Statistics at Gazi University. He has taught courses in Statistics, Operations Research, Performance Evaluation, and Computer Programming. He has authored more than eighty national and international scientific publications. According to Google Scholar, his h-index is 13 and his i10-index is 16. He has served as a manager and researcher in numerous projects with both public and private institutions. His main research areas include Statistics, Operations Research, Computer Programming, and Performance Evaluation. He has supervised 36 master’s and doctoral theses to date. In 2025, he joined the academic staff of the Management Information Systems Department at OSTİM Technical University.
